Scottish Islands & Norwegian Fjords - Edinburgh to Tromsø
The good, the plaid, and the whisky It's said redheads have a reputation for fiery temperaments; in Scotland the same could be said of the entire people, or even the land itself. Somehow, both the land and those who live on it manage to be simultaneously handsome and tough as nails, like a burly highlander in a fine tartan kilt. Fierce, proud, rugged, and beautiful, the land that inspired a thousand songs dips and weaves like a Celtic jig. Scotland's rugged beauty is postcard-famous: lochs, glens, rocky cliffs, and rolling hills are punctuated by medieval castles and stone churches. Nor is it all bagpipes and haggis – Scottish cities like Glasgow and Edinburgh seamlessly blend the ancient and modern, and the music and personalities are strong and distinctive as their whiskies.

Go deeper into the otherworldly fjords of Norway on this unique journey from Scotland, across the Norwegian Sea to the fjords of Norway. Discover UNESCO-protected wonders like the Standing Stones of Stennes, the mystical Ring of Brodgar, and archaeological sites, witness the curious clash of cultures in the Shetland Islands, and marvel at the stunning forests and waterfalls that line the fjords. Even after you come home, a part of you will remain here forever.
